Well it was our first year of swim lessons. We haven't been swimming much in the past so I haven't worried about taking the kids to lessons yet, but I figured it was time to start. I wasn't sure how Aisley was going to be so I signed her up with Emily (one of her best cousins!) Thinking that if Emily would do what they wanted her to do then Aisley would follow. But I didn't have anything to worry about she was a little scared, but she did just as they wanted her to...well she at least tried! Then on the last day she got to go down the slide, but was too chicken. Ya go figure...the girl that would live at the park and go down slides all day if I'd let her! I was going to take her picture, but I had to hold her hand as she went down instead.

The hard part was trying to keep Rigdon away from the water. All he wanted to do was jump in and be one of the big kids too! That lasted the first few times, and then he decided to just sit on my lap and watch. It was nice after he learned he couldn't get by the pool.
So after swim lessons were over I took the kids to the Safford Pool. They had such a good time jumping off the side, going under the mushroom waterfall, and letting the buckets dump on them! We had so much fun passing the time until Jed got home from camping at Roosevelt Lake with the Young Men. Rigdon was so happy to be able to finally get in the water. He loved it! And Aisley was trying to teach him all she had learned at swim lessons...blowing bubbles, dolphin dips, putting on her rocket point to take off, and kicking her legs!
Cute kids headed to the pool!
My cute, chubby boy!
Yes that's me, the whitey with the farmer's tan!
