Well Aisley has discovered that she LOVES shoes! It doesn't matter who's they are. She wants to try them on. She has found my shoe racks and had to try on all she could get her hands on. Now the rule is if she wants a different pair then she has to put the other pair up. I know what a mean mom, but I can't handle having 30 pair of shoes out! Well I caught a few pictures of her with my shoes on and pushing her baby in her new stroller. She loves it!! She loves to take her baby for walks. She takes her through the kitchen to the back door and knocks. Then comes back. Her favorites are the heels that make noise when she walks. Oh the joys of being a girl....its all about the shoes!! You'll notice that Aisley goes for her stroller and baby first thing in the morning. So that explains her crazy hair and sleepy eyes!

First Ride
Well Jed had a crazy idea of going to a horse auction with Justin and Brant. Well needless to say.... he found one he wanted. He has always wanted a blue horse so he brought her home. She is 5 years old and ALREADY BROKE!!! That made me real exicited so hopefully me and Aisley can have one to ride with Jed. Since Jed thinks Aisley is going to start riding soon; he had to have a horse ready for her! Although, he did refrain from buying her a saddle that he found too. Thank Goodness but I'm sure it will be next! Oh how her daddy spoils her. But it is so cute!!

And for the second milestone...
Aisley turned 18 MONTHS and is now GOING TO NURSERY!!! Church is totally different now. I feel totally lost without entertaining and having snacks for her during the first 2 hours. But its so nice! I don't have to worry about who she can visit while I teach my lesson when Jed has to work. She usually went with Papa to the High Priest class though. I thought it was really cute that she did tap dances on the chairs for them!! They were all entertained! I'm not sure how their lesson went, but she came out happy! Jed and I couldn't believe how well she made the transition. We saw Sas is the hall, and she asked her if she wanted to go play with the kids.....Aisley took her by the hand and off they went and never looked back. She was such a big girl, and Jed and I just sat and watched them walk all the way down the hall with tears in our eyes. Our little girl is growing up. So I remembered to take my camera the next week and get a couple pics.... Aisley all dressed up ready to go looking BEAUTIFUL I must say, and with Sas going to Nursery!
Mom going to Girls Camp
Well I guess I just checked out for a few weeks there in June. As I was looki
ng at our blog, I remembered there were a few things that I haven't posted yet. A couple things happened that were big milestones for Aisley.
The first thing was that her mom left her for 4 days and 3 nights while she went to Girls Camp. Jed was working nights the whole time I was gone, so he came home and got some sleep then went back to play with Aisley before he went on his next shift. It was a good, but hard week for us all. We were so proud of Aisley. She was so big and such a good girl for Kayla and Nama! Camp was really fun though. It was definitely a testimony builder. There were so many good talks and workshops to feel the spirit. I
was a cabin mom over the 4th level girls where I had 3 of my girls from our ward. So that was really fun. I only have a few pictures since the batteries in my camera went dead the first night, and I didn't find more until the night before we came home. So you'll get to see Hannah, Megan, and I on our paddle boat adventure!! An adventure it was too. Between the wind, us not knowing what we were doing, and Megan saying STOP... I'm scared let's go back......it took us a while to do anything but turn circles and get drifted into the bank!! But we made it back and Megan wanted to go back for more!!

Family Camp Out
We went on our annual family camp out to Brentwood (near Alpine) with my family this past weekend. Brentwood is the best of both worlds. It camping being outdoors and still have running water with real bathrooms!! It was so much fun. It was so nice to get most all of us together. Catherine and Kevin weren't able to be there with us... hopefully next year though. We started a new tradition this year. We pieced together a denim quilt, and then tied it while we were there. Everyone that helped got to put their name in a hat to draw for it. Brant came out the winner on that one. Its a good thing he didn't mind the pink camouflage that we put on the back of it! And then for the kids they got to tie the knots around a fleece blanket and draw for it. Delaney was the proud winner of that one! Since the storms rolled in around 10 a.m. everyday we just sat it up under the canopy, and everyone had a great time doing it hoping they were going to be the winner taking it home with them. The weather was so nice. We didn't want to come back to the heat. The best thing about camping though is all the good food we have. You know its all about the food....not to mention our good cooks!
The kids all loved camping and being together. They were going non stop...unless they were told to come in out of the rain. They were riding bikes, playing baseball, crawdad fishing, roping cows, and riding quads to name a few. And every time they came back from whatever they were doing their stories kept getting better and better. Let me just say....they have quite the imaginations with a little exageration to go with it! It was hilarious to hear their stories. While the kids were out playing the adults were having fun too. When we weren't cooking the boys were brushing up on their roping skills, telling stories, or riding quads too. And the girls were making bows and flowers for themselves or their daughter's hair. It was great just hanging out together and laughing with each other.
We had a little accident on Friday night. Luckily it wasn't in our camp, but the Marble family from Duncan was camping just above us, one of the kids fell in the fire. He actually was sitting in the fire. One of his aunts had a feeling that someone could help from our camp. So she came running down there and told us what had happened. So of course, Jed ran to help. The boy was really lucky because he had been crawdad fishing earlier that day so his shorts were wet. So the only place he got burned was on his calf and his arm with 2nd degree burns. Jed helped them cool the burns down, and wrap them up so the air didn't get to it. The family took him to meet the ambulance then on to Springerville Hospital. They were able to bring him back that night. The girl that came down to get help said that on the way down the road was lit. She could see every rock in the road, but on the way back it was dark and really needed a flashlight. It was really neat to hear how the Lord helps us when we are in need.
Then we went to Sprusedale Guest Ranch for church on Sunday. It was a really cool testimony meeting. It felt really weird going to church in our casual clothes, but the spirit was still there. It was really neat.
